British broadcaster Piers Morgan has criticized Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland, and he referred to him as the league’s most arrogant player.
Morgan then stated that the Norway international is a ‘nasty piece of work,’ as he criticized the striker for ‘belittling’ his opponent, who was just 17 years old.
You may remember that during Manchester City’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal, which took place on Sunday, Haaland caused controversy when he threw the ball at Gabriel’s head after the Cityzens scored a stunning equalizer in the 98th minute.
Before the throw, Haaland dismissed Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly (the 17-year-old) by shouting, “Who the f*** are you” and later had a few words with Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, as well as Gabriel Jesus, another striker who used to play for Man City.
When Morgan saw the clip of Haaland arguing with Arteta, he tweeted on Monday, stating the following: “Big lecture about humility from the league’s most arrogant player who nasty belittled 17-year-old Lewis-Skelly and cowardly threw a ball at the back of Gabriel’s head, pipe down you nasty piece of work.”
