David Raya’s availability for this weekends Premier League fixture vs Leicester City is being discussed among fans and media. The Spaniard goalkeeper has been in great form this season for Arsenal, but during the 2-2 draw against Manchester City he sustained a muscular injury, subsequently missing the Carabao Cup fixture against Bolton Wanderers from the academy goalkeeper Jack Porter and keeping the professional in the stands.

Mikel Arteta has not disclosed much about the state of injury, but has stated the club will continue to assess how serious the injury is before deciding if he will be fit for the notable match against Leicester. Arteta has however clarified that it is a muscular injury; the nature of the injury is still unclear hence the timeline is undetermined, which means the status for the against Leicester City is unclear
